The Matale Old Thomians’ Association Colombo Branch (MOTA Colombo) hosted a Special Felicitation Evening for fellow old Thomian, the upcoming President of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka, Mr Kaushalya Nawaratne, who was also a past Vice–President of MOTA Colombo. The event was held at Sappers’ Leisure Bay Mattegoda on 26th January with the participation of some prominent old boys of St. Thomas’ College, Matale.

Professor Chaminda Rathnayake, the President of MOTA Colombo, along with Hon. Secretary Arch. Lakshman Senevirathane Presented a Felifcation Plaque to Mr Nawaratne in the presence of the Secretary to the Hon. Prime Minister Mr Anura Dissanayake, Patrons of MOTA Colombo Mr Lakshman Silva (Former CEO of DFCC), Mr Namal Balalla (High Court Judge), Major General Shanaka Rathnayake, Major General Chandana Wijayasundara ( Retd), Major General Anil Kaduwela (Retd), Major General Nishanthe Herath (Retd) and office bearers of MA Colombo EX-Co.

The event was well participated by other Old Thomians and their loved ones.
